Rochester, NY – February 16, 2023 – Pittsford Plaza is pleased to announce the opening of Rosie Nepalese & Indian Cuisine. This is their first restaurant in the market. Owners Govinda Giri and Raju Thapa moved to the United States to open this restaurant and are fully invested in its success. Thapa’s philosophy has always been about “east-meets-west cuisine,” and bringing his bread making obsession here to the United States. Originally from Pokhara Nepal, Raju and his wife Sunita moved to Toronto in 2001 to open their first restaurant. With Rosie Nepalese & Indian Cuisine, they have now brought their recipes to Pittsford Plaza and included their famous naan and roti.
The 2,027 sq.ft. restaurant is located between Adelitas Mexican Cocina and One World Goods on the north-west side of the plaza near Barnes & Noble. Rosie aims to spread the delectable taste of Momos, a traditional Indian and Nepalese delicacy, to the Greater Rochester area. They offer an array of dishes and delicacies–bringing the best of South Asia right to your doorstep. Rosie offers local delivery and catering services for weddings, birthday parties, or corporate events.
There are three more stores/services coming to Pittsford Plaza! The Paper Store is a first-to-market popular retailer offering home décor, stationary, giftwrap, fashion and jewelry and unique gifts for every occasion. A new flexibility training center, StretchLab will feature revolutionary assisted stretching and flexibility training classes in the 2,186 sq ft space next to Pure Barre, located in the middle of the plaza.
